Seeing as the Cardinals are up 2-0 in their first round playoff series, could we please have a repeat of the Pujols piece on City of Floating Blogs? It’s such a classic.

And if I may, “So far in the playoffs the Cardinals have gotten everything they could out of Pujols.”

I’ve never been one to disappoint a fan, so without further ado, I present this CoFB classic that originally ran on October 28, 2004:

I mean, I watched it, but I spent the whole time distracted the same way I spent every other game of the series: Using “Pujols” in funny sentences. You know, because it sounds like “poo-holes?”

The people of St. Louis sure love their Pujols.

We’re seeing some really surprising things coming out of Pujols tonight.
