Movies are Groovy

One of the things I never fixed after my web hosting service lost my entire site was my collection of two awesome videos. I’m fixing that right now. The links on the left are now operational, and the videos can be found here and here.

Stuff

**Dennis DiClaudio was on NPR’s All Things Considered last night hawking his new book The Hypochondriac’s Pocket Guide to Horrible Diseases You Probably Already Have. Listen to it here.

**DataWhat has a really great rundown of some of the newest and smartest playlisting and streaming-radio doodads on the ‘net, culminating in a lovingly-composed ode to the upcoming Tapestry from AMG. I’ve played around with a limited version of Tapestry, and I have to say it’s definitely impressive. Is a sweet-ass recommendations engine thingy from AllMovie soon to come? Maybe.

**Every now and again, SNL is still really funny. Apparently they’ve got a new feature called Digital Shorts, and this past Saturday had this fantastic piece called Lazy Sunday starring Chris Parnell and one of the new dudes. If they keep this up, I’m going to have to start watching again. This Taco Town commercial from earlier in the season is pretty funny too.

**That’s all.
