1115 - The smartest, cleverest, sharpest, smeverest, clartest, shlevarpest political blog there is.

DataWhat? - Geeky nerdiness with a dash of dork and pictures of pretty girls.

Dennis Diclaudio - If there's anything out there that can be sucked at, this guy sucks at it.

Haypenny - All that remains of the once brilliant humor mag are ashes, but there's still fun to be found if you sift through them.

Kittenpants - The day before he died, Pat Morita shoved this entire website up his ass. Coincidence?

My Wife Jackie's Myspace Blog - The only place on the internet to find up-to-date info on knitting projects and ranty musings by people I regularly have sex with.

Yankee Pot Roast - This website raped me.

mp3s of the Day

Fountains of Wayne - Denise:
These guys hit it pretty big last year, but I think an argument could be made that their sophomore release Utopia Parkway is even better than the menagerie of perfect power-pop nuggets that was Welcome Interstate Managers. Listen to this track and judge for yourself.

Iron & Wine - Jesus the Mexican Boy:
Pretty much the polar opposite of the FoW track, Iron & Wine (AKA Sam Beam) makes music so subtly and heartbreakingly beautiful it'll make you stab your heart out because the emotion is too intense bear, but in a good way. This song comes from The Sea and the Rhythm, an EP released last year.

Iron & Wine - Naked as We Came:
This one is from Beam's latest album and is proof that higher production value does nothing to diminish the quality and power of his music.

Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U:
I caught this song on the radio the other night for the first time in several years and suddenly realized, with no hint of irony and only a few hints of superfluousness, that it's the greatest song ever recorded.
